These chart patterns here are my absolute favorite to play. Lately, in this slow summer market they have become rare and hard to find. When you do find one, it's almost a guarantee that you'll be making money. The key is to know when to enter. If you enter too soon, you can get hurt very badly. Never hold and try to average down if you get in too soon. I will show the charts of these setups and the entry points, but will not show exactly how I come up with these entry points. There are many indicators that must be near perfect in order for me to decide to take the trade and from there decide what the trigger/entry price will be as well as the stop loss.
Keep in mind, I didn't come up with this all on my own. I learned it from others and have added my own little specifications and criteria to it in determining whether it is a trade I will take or not. Here they are:
